Why We Love Manor House
The holiday parks are open and hopefully, you’ve already spent some quality time at your holiday home. This last year has been difficult for many but returning to our caravans for the summer has been a thought we have all held on to.
We’ve missed the holiday parks during lockdown and absence really does make the heart grow fonder. Let’s take a look at Manor House.
Waking up on a calm clear Sunday morning, brewing yourself a fresh cup of coffee, taking a walk along the beach, as the winds of the Atlantic Ocean blow all your worries away for the rest of the day.
Sometimes it sounds almost too good to be true. A home from home by the sea, uniquely situated in the sand dunes of Rossnowlagh, almost cut off from the rest of the world. Manor House really does offer that sought-after fantasy of disconnection and relaxation.
Nestled in the Sand Dunes
Located on the outskirts of Rossnowlagh in Donegal, this 55-acre holiday park has been sensitively developed in an environmentally protected conservation area. Each holiday home is pitched in line with the natural geography of the sand dunes, making each location feel unique. Manor House is truly unlike any other holiday park.
As a bonus, Manor House grants access to a private beach for all residents. This provides the perfect excuse to make those morning walks a daily habit. Of course, fun family days building sandcastles with the kids is much easier when your holiday home is 2 minutes away. And let’s not forgot the surfing opportunities this private beach presents. Manor House holiday park caters to all.
Beyond the Park
If you do wish to travel back into the world for a bit, then there is plenty to enjoy in the village itself and the surrounding area. The main beach in Rossnowlagh is ideal for bathing with its blue flag status and lifeguards on duty during the summer ensuring optimum safety. Ballyshannon, Bundoran and Donegal Town are all close by, for those who wish to do a little shopping.
For good food, Rossnowlagh has two great options, located close to each other. Firstly, Smugglers Creek Inn rests on the cliffs overlooking Donegal Bay providing panoramic views of the wild Atlantic. You’ll be greeted with a warm welcome and served great tasting food made from fresh Irish produce.
With each visit to the Gaslight Inn, you will find traditional Donegal hospitality and superb local fresh food cooked to order. And as you enjoy your meal, you’ll also be treated to panoramic views of Donegal Bay.
Just a Little More
Let’s not forget that Manor House is a fully serviced park with laundry facilities that are open all year round to residents. As our residents will attest, Manor House holiday park is a truly amazing place to have your home from home.
The last year has reminded us why we love our holiday parks. So, let’s take a look at Edgewater on the shores of Lough Erne.
It sounds almost too good to be true. But a home from home by the sea, uniquely situated in the sand dunes of Rossnowlagh, cut off from the rest of the world is exactly what Manor House delivers.
