Why We Love Edgewater
Finally, the COVID-19 restrictions have begun to ease. We have looked forward to the reopening of our Northern View holiday parks for many months now and we hope you’ve already been able to enjoy some time at your holiday homes.
But as peculiar as this last year has been, it has acted as a great reminder of why we love our holiday parks. So, we thought you might like to join us, as we look at why we love our holiday parks so much.
Let’s begin with Edgewater.
Idyllic Lough-side Setting
A home from home on the picturesque shores of Lough Erne is the perfect escape. Many of our Edgewater residents return every weekend as the view of the Fermanagh lough helps wash away the stresses of life. And who can blame them? It’s hard to not fall immediately in love with the holiday park when you witness the sun setting over the lough from your decking. So, when you return, take an evening to sit by the lough and marvel at its natural beauty. You really can’t get it anywhere else.
It’s A-Boat Time
Of course, Lough Erne provides more than just a lovely view. The open water is calling. And if you aren’t a water enthusiast when you arrive at Edgewater, it doesn’t take long for the bug to catch. The only question that remains is what interests you most? For the more adventurous, water skiing, windsurfing and water trampolining are great options. But never discount a leisurely cruise around the lough. The choice, of course, is yours. Feel free to take your canoes or kayaks with you.
Residents can book a spot at the purpose-built marina to moor their boats and jet skis. Plus, there is a private & secure boat park as well.
Here For A Good Time
For those who are happy to stay on dry land, Edgewater has a football/basketball court on-site for everyone to enjoy. But don’t forget there’s also an enclosed children’s playground. So, keeping the kids (and big kids) entertained shouldn’t be a problem.
If you’re looking for food, then you don’t have far to look. Drumrush Lodge serves as Edgewater’s on-site restaurant. As a family-run business Drumrush provides a homely atmosphere, with friendly staff and a wide variety of food to suit everyone.
The list of reasons to love Edgewater is endless. We haven’t even mentioned that the park has laundry facilities, is dog friendly, has free Wi-Fi available and is open all year round for residents.
So, here’s to a great summer on the shores of Lough Erne.
Centrally located in the seaside village of Rossnowlagh, Bayview and Seaspray offer different holiday experiences. We look at why we love both holiday parks.
Embrace the joys of the open water with a leisurely row across Lough Erne or surf the waves in Bundoran. Northern View Holiday Parks are the perfect base for any water sports enthusiast.
