Why We Love Dartry View
It’s great to be back.
After the COVID restrictions lifted, many of us rushed down to the holiday parks for a well-deserved break. And who can blame us? We all love our homes, but after spending an extended time in them over the past year, it was time to get out. It was time we got to truly relax and disconnect for a weekend.
This extended time away has really shown us how much we love our holiday homes. So, let’s take one last opportunity to rediscover why we love our holiday parks so much. Let’s head over to Dartry View.
Bundoran in Donegal has remained a popular seaside resort for many years. People travel from across Ireland to enjoy the town’s beach, coastal walks, and surfing opportunities.
Centrally located in the town, sits Dartry View – our large family-friendly static caravan park. This location means you are never too far away from the beach, amusements or the lovely restaurants and cafes dotted around the town. And the fact that we have so many long-term residents on Dartry View showcases that it really is the perfect place to holiday throughout the year.
Furthermore, the park offers a magnificent view of Benbulbin and the Dartry mountain range and is positioned in such a way that the mountain almost appears to sit at the foot of the park. It really is a peaceful scene to appreciate as you sit out on your decking on a calm, sunny morning.
Let’s Go Surfing
For many, Bundoran is synonymous with only one thing – surfing. Surfers travel from all over Ireland to experience the countless beach and reef breaks to be found in the area.
Known as the ‘Surf Capital of Ireland’, the town has many surfing locations including the Main Beach, the Perk, Inside Left and Tullan Strand. But don’t be put off if you’ve never surfed before. There are many renowned surfing schools offering lessons for everyone from beginners to the more advanced. You can easily perfect your surfing skills by visiting Bundoran Surf Co, Turf n Surf or Murf’s Surf School to name but a few.
Fun For All the Family
The town however has much more on offer than most people realise. While Bundoran is famous for its beach, amusements and surfing, there is more to discover.
You can take in the beautiful coastal views on horseback with Donegal Equestrian Centre or spend an exciting day zip lining climbing and abseiling with the Donegal Outdoor Adventure Centre. Or maybe a round of golf at the Bundoran Golf Club is more your cup of tee (pun intended).
There’s plenty to explore in Bundoran.
On Your Doorstep
Back on the holiday park itself, Dartry View provides everything you need for a weekend break or holiday. There are many wide-open grass areas for children to play on as well as a kid’s playground. The park is a fully serviced site with a dedicated on-site manager. There’s free wi-fi and laundry facilities. Plus, as we are dog-friendly you can bring your furry friend to enjoy the relaxing breaks with you.
Centrally located in the seaside village of Rossnowlagh, Bayview and Seaspray offer different holiday experiences. We look at why we love both holiday parks.
Embrace the joys of the open water with a leisurely row across Lough Erne or surf the waves in Bundoran. Northern View Holiday Parks are the perfect base for any water sports enthusiast.
